Get Involved

Mountain Justice is both a call to action and a request for help from the people of the Appalachian mountains. We seek to save our mountains, streams and forest from greedy coal companies. YOU can help end mountaintop removal and other destructive practices in Appalachia by joining us at MJ Spring Break Virginia and other related events!

Ways to get involved:

  1. Become a campus coordinator. You’re role is to recruit and rally friends and fellow students at your University to attend MJSBVA! We’ve made a special toolkit for you to help with outreach and fundraising and traveling to Appalachia, VA. This role is extremely important AND rewarding; we can’t have MJSB without YOU!
  2. Join the Planning Collective. This is the muscle behind the logistics, fundraising, and operations of MJ spring break. We are a diverse group all with different skills and insights. We have weekly calls to craft a fabulous spring break…. working groups focus on specific areas (ex: outreach, funds, service, kitchen) and have separate calls. Let us know if you want to join.
  3. Submit a workshop you’d like to lead! Fill out a workshop submission form here, and don’t forget to register as well!
